*Fannie cues up the Addams Family*
Today’s special edition is dedicated to my favorite decorating holiday. Outside the blogosphere, my husband and I spend the month of October setting up our “parent bait” to ensure more than two “Trick or Treaters” come to our front door—guaranteeing we relive our favorite childhood Halloween memories through others.
Since I cannot concentrate enough this week to write, and next week we have company, why not share a little bit of what’s shaking over at Chez Cranium.
Then there was this photo. I nearly deleted it until I noticed the image created by the flash . . . clearly the Grim Reaper shops here. 😉
Seven haunting days left. So in the words of Nu Shooz, “I Can’t Wait” . . . .
Eighty’s costumes welcome. 😉
You had to know I’d flip over this song, yes? And the video–while grainy–is fun to watch, too. Those bulky long shirts with those belts! And that they called themselves Nu Shooz. How can you not love the ’80s?
And about the Halloween stuff: it’s houses like yours that I tell my kids not to go near 😉 haha. While I don’t share your enthusiasm for all things Halloween (can be such a Scrooge 😦 ), I appreciate the passion you have for it. Love it when folks are over-the-top obsessed. Hope the holiday is everything you hope for and more 😀 You and hubby have a lovely and twisted sense of humor. AND a ghost apparently. Rock on!

How could I resist Nu Shooz knowing your love of all things ’80s?
We also have a tombstone called “Imeda Marcos’ Worn Shoe Museum”, just to keep up the shoe theme. 😉
Yes, there are plenty of people who avoid our house, fortunately, those brave enough to show up get rewarded with glow necklaces and candy…
Apparently the haunting is just a bonus to give us more “authenticity.” 😀

This is so much more amazing than anything I was picturing – I cannot wait to hear stories of how it all goes over on the big night !!! So very awesome on so very many levels. My favourite is the gravestone reading “It’s pink – get over it!” Not that you couldn’t see that one coming a mile away 😉

Thanks Amb! It’s been hard to take pictures lately. We’ve been fogged in for days with only a couple of clear afternoons.
We’re keeping out fingers crossed for next Thursday.
