Because we couldn’t have another Halloween if there really was an apocalypse . . . .
And my 2015 calendar prophesied there would be another October 31st next year. You can check your calendar, I’ll wait.

A high wind pushed the rain clouds to the east. The sky cleared.
The moon waxed above the trees lighting the street. Votive candles flickered in stemless wine glasses half covered with aluminum foil. The first Trick or Treater arriving before we finished setting up the yard.
In my excited state, I forgot to take any after photos. But I know they’re out there.
We had 208 Trick or Treaters visit us on Friday night. A new record high—for us. We nearly ran out of candy and glow necklaces.
Another first, the number of people lying down in front of their favorite tombstones taking selfies.
And in the spirit of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, we are already planning for next year.
As with any special edition, how about some amazing performance art to wrap up our Halloween extravaganza. If you haven’t seen Lindsey Stirling yet, check out this amazing performance, Master of Tides.
Release the Kraken, Lindsey!
Until next week.
Ciao,
Fannie
so glad it was such a successful year for you! Word is obviously getting out that yours is the must-visit house. Love it 🙂

Thanks Liz. It really help that the weather held. Clearly we don’t have the power to draw them in like the SPAM Museum.
Speaking of which, I heard it’s moving to a new location in downtown Austen and should re-open in 2016. . .might be a road trip in the making there.
