A Special Edition: The 2015 Halloween Countdown Begins

With October now on the calendar I cannot concentrate on normal things like blogging when the yard beckons it annual transformation.

Nothing says welcome to our yard like a bunch of disembodied heads.

Would you like a little candy before we eat you?

Would you like a little candy before we eat you?

Last year I thought it would be fun to make them sing, but I time got away from me. Maybe next year.

Who wouldn’t want to rest in peace in this haunted wood.

Our UPS driver commented there were no ghost to greet him. Perhaps it wasn't dark enough?

And every yard needs its own Pit of Despair.

Caution, pit under construction, do not despair. :)

Caution, pit under construction, do not despair. 🙂

Digging pits is not for sissies. When the pit is complete, my new Popeye arms will crave Bengay.

Special Edition tradition dictates a little music. What more fitting way to kick off the month than with “This is Halloween” from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare before Christmas.

Celebrating the month of a million ghouls.

Only 30 days left.

Until next week.

Ciao,

Fannie

I’ll leave the digging to you! It can’t come too soon for you, eh? Yesterday on Family Feud (yes, I went there), they were asking what Olive Oyl found sexy about Popeye. Of course, arms was there! But I don’t know if your husband will feel the same way if YOU have them. At least you’ll smell great with Bengay.
