A Walk Above The Clouds

Spring is on the calendar, but we’re not over winter just yet.

On a recent trip to Canada, my husband and I were traveling to visit some friends in Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island in Canada. When we arrived on the island in the morning, a low cloud ceiling and intermittent snow flurries followed us from the States.

We headed north out of Victoria on Highway 1. When we reached the Malahat Pass, the clouds cleared. Brilliant blue sky. Snow covered the ground.

We pulled into one of the turnouts and found our traveling companions, the clouds, dancing at our feet.

View from the Malahat Pass on Vancouver Island across the Georgia Strait onto the Sunshine Coast, mainland British Columbia, Canada.

We’re glad we stopped to walk above the clouds.

Until next week.
