Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Oh the weather outside is delightful, or maybe not. This, perhaps, once-in-a-lifetime storm interrupted mail service for four days, cancelled school for a week, and cancelled garbage service for three weeks.

First there was the wind.

Then the clouds thickened and the snow flew.

How about a snow ball fight?

The giant flakes began to fall.

I don’t want to drive across that, do you?

It’s the type of storm the kids will tell their children about how they walk uphill to school, knee-deep in snow, both ways—and they’d be right about the knee-deep part.

Stay warm. Spring is only a week away.

About Fannie Cranium

Writing since she could first hold a pen, Tracy Perkins formed her alter ego, "Fannie Cranium" at the suggestion of her husband. Tracy understands smiling makes people wonder what she’s been up to.
